My random life, infront of the lens.

stars....

I went out one night looking to try some star pictures. i went to a familiar spot. i had shot there before, the same spot i shot Country Evening. after a couple hours of waiting for the moon to set, i started getting some alright shots, based on the low level camera body i own.

i heard some weird noises coming from the field behind me, i turned on my iPhone flashlight and spun around, i saw two rather large eyes, about a foot off the ground, reflecting back at me from about 50 feet away. i shuffled my feet a bit to scare it, then it stood up and stepped forward. that is when i realized it was a coyote...

i reached down and grabbed a handful of rocks and started throwing them. one pegged it right in its snout and it ran into the field. i grabbed my camera gear as fast as i could and ran back to my car. after sitting in my car for a few seconds i could hear the coyote yipping in the field.... and then i heard two others yipping back.

this is officially the best photography story i have to date... hopefully many more to come!!!

Rough...

Snuck into an old building down town. Seriously almost fell through the floor. This place had a bunch of cool things, but was lacking structural integrity. I used my phone for this one.

path...

this is about half way into Gitchie Manitou, looking back where i came from. the whole place is amazing, i have a feeling i will be out there a few more times.
