My random life, infront of the lens.

San Francisco...

Walking around San Francisco yesterday, all I had with my was my iPhone (kicking myself). We went to Pier 39 for the touristy stuff. I could only imagine the HDR shots I could have tried. My 6D will be with me the rest of the time now.

Of course I snagged a couple wing shots too, and a silhouette shot inside the MSP airport. These are all edited with Snapseed on my iPhone 5 the plane and airport shots where taken with my 6D and wifi transfer to my iPhone.

Now thats advertising....

20120315-074731.jpg Took a stroll; to get dinner, with my girlfriend the other night. I live fairly close to the homeless shelter in town, and the have this giant cross/sign next to their building. Every time I pass it, I think I should take a picture of it. Usually I do not have my DSLR with me, or I'm on a mission to get something else.

This time I decided to used iPhone to snap a quick picture. Usually I save my iPhone photos for stuff like instagram, and Facebook. But I kinda liked how this one turned out. I have always been surprised at the quality of pictures I can get on my phone, and how powerful some of the editing programs can be.

It doesn't matter what camera you own, the best one, is the one you have with you.

Rough...

Snuck into an old building down town. Seriously almost fell through the floor. This place had a bunch of cool things, but was lacking structural integrity. I used my phone for this one.

Taken with trueHDR.

Zoo...

20110618-090136.jpg walking around the zoo today. Taken with my iPhone, and fully edited on the phone using PhotoForge2. No "effects" just curves and levels with some vignette.
