Sunset Saturday... Is that a real thing?

No, I really don't think it is. I have decided to start culling though some of my older images and popping them up on here from time to time. This was from a little trip I made to San Francisco. 16 photos taken in portrait orientation and stitched together in Photoshop. Most photographers ask right away if this was an HDR, it was not. The image was put together in Photoshop and edited in Lightroom.

San Francisco sunset.

The original plan was to snag a couple shots of the bridge and all the blah blah blah tourist stuff.  The sunset stole the show! More shots of the sunset were taken than the bridge, and i can honestly say that if it was not for the sunset I would not have remembered much about being there.

As a bonus I threw in my final sunset photo that ended up being one of my all time favorite photos that I call "beauty loves company".

San Francisco...

Walking around San Francisco yesterday, all I had with my was my iPhone (kicking myself). We went to Pier 39 for the touristy stuff. I could only imagine the HDR shots I could have tried. My 6D will be with me the rest of the time now.

Of course I snagged a couple wing shots too, and a silhouette shot inside the MSP airport. These are all edited with Snapseed on my iPhone 5 the plane and airport shots where taken with my 6D and wifi transfer to my iPhone.
